Did you know April is National Lawn and Garden Month? We already shared with you How to Prepare Your Garden for Summer, so today I’d like to share some lawn care tips, so yours is the greenest yard on the block!

  1. 1.       Treat weeds-Getting rid of weeds right when they pop up is important. Things like dandelions and clover pop up quickly and spread easily. Spring and fall are typically the best times to get rid of them. It’s also important to prevent them and you can do so with weed prevents early in the season.
  2. 2.       Fertilize- Fertilizer is essentially food for your yard, so it’s important for healthy growth! Most lawn experts will recommend fertilizing at least twice a year: once in the spring and once in the fall.

  2. Burglarproofing: Change all locks upon moving into a new house. The previous owners may have surrendered their key copies, but you never know who else they might have
